Prof. Kyung S. Boo
President
Dr. Boo is with the Insect Physiology Laboratory, School of Agricultural Biotechnology, Seoul National University, Korea. He has broad research interests and has published studies on the composition of moth and aphid pheromones, physiological and genetic control of pheromone production, field application of synthetic pheromones in trapping, and chemically-mediated, predator-prey interactions in insects.
Prof. Ritsuo Nishida
Vice-President
Prof. Nishida is a Professor in the Graduate School of Agriculture, Laboratory of Chemical Ecology, Kyoto University. He serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including Journal of Chemical Ecology and Biochemical Systematics and Ecology. Dr. Nishida's research focuses on insect-plant interactions, particularly oviposition stimulants of butterflies, chemical sequestration, and fruit fly pollination of orchids.
Dr. Eric Jang
Treasurer
Dr. Jang is a scientist with the US Department of Agriculture and resides on the Island of Hawaii. Dr. Jang is an expert on trapping and attractants of economically important tephritid fruit fly pests. During the past few years, he has been a co-leader in an areawide pest management project against tephritid fruit flies in Hawaii.

About APACE 2011 Beijing
Dear APACE Friends and Members,
It gives me great pleasure to announce that our 6th Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists (APACE) Conference with the theme "Chemical Ecology Future: Green Chemoecology in 21st Century" will be held in Beijing China (October 11-15, 2011). This conference marks the round trip of the Association in the Chinese philosophy (a 12 year one circle) since the first meeting of the APACE was initiated in Shanghai in 1999. Please, let us know if you have any suggestions or ideas for the Association. Thank you.
